In this study we discovered three key known AMD genes, Fms related tyrosine kinase 1(Flt1), the receptor for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) (putative miR1192 target), ATP binding cassette subfamily A member 1 (Abca1) (putative miR673-5p target), and Activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule(Alcam) (putative miR188-3p target) are regulated by Nr2e3 and Rora and their potential corresponding miRNAS that are differentially expressed in Nr2e3 rd7/ rd7 retinas.
