MIR130A is a microRNA (miRNA) that is enriched in melanoma extracellular vesicles (EVs) and has been associated with melanoma metastasis [PMC9871288]. Recent studies have shown that inhibiting MIR130A in cerebral ischemia can have beneficial effects, such as reducing blood-brain barrier (BBB) permeability, brain edema, and improving neurological function [PMC6732937].
