This system can be used to submit new miRNA sequences to the miRBase Registry for appropriate naming. Before submitting, please use miRScore, a miRNA scoring tool to analyze your novel miRNAs and determine if their loci are of high confidence, based on the criteria outlined in Axtell and Meyers (2018). You should submit mature miRNA and precursor sequences as well as small RNA-seq data to miRScore, and then please submit a CSV output file, which includes information on each miRNA loci and a pass/fail result.
